Pinback buttons

This winter, I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's button maker for a few weeks. I quickly became obsessed with making pinback buttons. Above are a few examples of my creations. (The two faces are Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dali, if you didn't recognize them.) There's something really satisfying in creating a mini-illustration or design.
